DescriptionSAIC is looking for a Software Test Engineer to start a exciting career opportunity supporting the federal government.Details

Team you’ll be joining: SAIC Identity and Data Sciences Laboratory (IDSL).

What we do: Design, build, and execute experiments to test and evaluate operational processes using biometric and non-biometric technologies.

Our client: Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) Biometrics and Identity Technology Center (BITC).

Onsite location: Maryland Test Facility (MdTF), Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Hybrid flex work: Candidate will be required to support onsite at the MdTF in addition to remote testing at popup test locations with the continental US.

QualificationsRequired:

BS and 2+ years (4 years of experience in lieu of degree)

Must be a US citizen.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust prior to starting

Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for Web and API applications.

Adept at integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Solid communication skills and collaborative team player with a track record of success in a cross functional team environment.

Comfortable working with software development and test automation such as, but not limited to:

Programming languages: GO, SQL, R, Java, JavaScript

Test Automation Tools: Selenium, Cypress, Appium

Performance Testing Tools: Jmeter, Gatling

API Test Tools: Postman

Security Testing Tools: Burp Suite, Nessus, OWASP ZAP

Other Tools: Bitbucket, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Rancher, Grafana, Jira, and Confluence

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000.
