Share your vision and inspire others .Sodexo - Seniors has a current Chef Manage r opportunity at Carroll Lutheran Village located in Westminster, Maryland. This is a large upscale continuing care retirement community serving over 600 residents. The Chef Manager will oversee the daily kitchen operations for the healthcare residents and manage a staff of approximately 15 hourly employees. Typical shift will be 10am-6pm with every other weekend rotation.Ability to motivate staff to achieve a high-level of customer satisfaction. Previous healthcare or senior living experience highly preferred.The successful candidate will:

oversee daily operations of the kitchen (trayline and dining room service);

perform tray assessments to ensure food quality, temperature and tray accuracy;

handle food ordering and inventory;

develop and maintain client and customer relationships;

perform functions that include direct supervision of hourly associates including employee development.

up to 2 years food service management experience in a hospital/skilled nursing setting;
