The System and Mission Analysis Department is charged with identifying, developing and applying new technologies that can address the Government's most challenging Systems Engineering problems. We provide innovative, practical solutions for some of our nation's most critical challenges in defense and intelligence, aviation, civil systems, homeland security, the judiciary, healthcare, and cybersecurity. Key Responsibilities may include:
Developing and applying artificial intelligence and machine learning methods to support systems engineering efforts
Creating deployable software for sponsors
Identifying key areas and challenges for sponsors along with possible solutions
Documenting and presenting work to leadership and sponsors
Basic Qualifications:
Pursing Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or relevant technical discipline.
Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited degree-seeking program the following semester
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government clearance.
Must have demonstrated proficiency and strength in verbal, written, PC, presentation, and communications skills
Proficiency in one or more of the programming languages for quantitative analyses (ex. MATLAB, Python, R) and/or general-purpose programming languages (ex. Java or C)
Demonstrated ability and desire to quickly learn and apply new technologies
Demonstrates speed, risk taking, agility, collaboration and grace and respect
Sustained excellence in academic performance
High level desire to help their nation solve its most critical challenges
Preferred Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of at least one technical discipline
Experience with software development process and configuration management systems
