We are a private, parent-governed, non-profit afterschool program located in the Auburndale
neighborhood of Newton, MA. We are interviewing for part-time afterschool teachers and assistants for the remainder 2024 academic year with possibility for employment in 2024-2025 school year.
Typical afterschool schedule: M, T, TH, F 2:20-5:50pm, WED 11:50 -5:50pm. Schedule/hours/days are flexible for the right candidate.
Must have experience teaching/leading/assisting school-age (K-1, 2-5 grade) children. Having experience leading
group gym games, dance, theatre, art, crafts, STEM, homework, etc., a plus. In addition to general afterschool
teacher duties, afterschool teachers and assistants are responsible for general supervision, promoting
positive interactions, taking attendance, etc. Paid training and1st aid/CPR provided.
Approx. $22.00-28.00/HR depending on experience; health, paid leave time, holiday pay, professional development, and other benefits may be available according to schedule.
