Local Northshore (Cape Ann) school is seeking an experienced, energetic and creative Toddler assistant/ teacher to join our team of teaching professionals, who are passionate about children and families. This position is ideal for an individual looking for thirty- forty hours of weekly work from approx. 8 AM to 4PM (hours are flexible) for 5 days a week. We follow a school calendar which include scheduled breaks (holiday, winter, Spring and summer).
Job responsibilities include:
Working with a variety of age groups - infants through preschool
Interacting with children in a nurturing, fun and respectful way in the classroom and on the playground
Work cooperatively and collaboratively with other staff members in the implementation of school activities, policies, procedures and other rules/guidelines
Qualified Candidates must:
Be at least 18 Years old
Have previous childcare or babysitting experience
Pass a background check, including fingerprinting
Be able to perform the physical requirements of the job including frequent standing, walking, bending or kneeling both indoors and outdoors
Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance
