GENERAL DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES
The Architectural Designer is responsible for assisting clients with designs for their home remodeling project.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Meet with design lead to qualify for converting to design client
Meet with client review priorities for the renovation project
Review preliminary project budgets with owner as required
Create and review project designs
Coordinate trade meetings for estimate preparation
Convert conceptual designs into construction plans
Assist with product selections, cabinet designs and window and door selections
Assist in the creation of standards and procedures
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Knowledge of the residential construction process and standard practices
Good interpersonal skills as required to communicate with clients, co-workers and trade partners
Advanced computer skills and the ability to use Chief Architect, Prokitchen, Excel, Word and Outlook
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of five years of construction experience
