Associate Scientist - Cell Biology

Perform cell-based functional assays in support of neuroscience drug discovery projects.Provide technical support to project teams on-site to achieve critical research objectives and timelines.Perform hands-on laboratory work, including routine cell and biochemistry assays:Prepare solutions and culture media.Maintain multiple cell lines, including primary neuronal cultures.Measure biochemical or functional parameters in cells using techniques like microscopy, live fluorescence imaging, immunocytochemistry, calcium imaging, morphology, and live/dead cell assays.Perform biochemical assays such as AlphaScreen, ELISA, MSD, and SDS-PAGE.Process data generated from these assays and report findings under supervision.Accurate recording of all practical work: completion of electronic lab notebook to meet quality standards.Maintaining a tidy and efficient laboratory environment and ensuring health and safety standards are met.
