The successful candidate is driven by a passion for identifying project opportunities and delivering quality work.  This role is focused on growing our successful aviation architecture practice.
 As an Aviation Architect with recognized technical expertise and experience in demanding, design driven projects, you will lead interdisciplinary teams. Leveraging your industry experience and technical acumen, you will drive a wide range of aviation projects including terminal renovations, hold room design, security checkpoint improvements, and airside facilities, through all phases of design, documentation, and construction.
The successful candidate will be a designer who approaches aviation architecture with innovation and passion, who works well with clients and stakeholders, and who understands the requirements of FAA, CBP, TSA, airlines and Terminal Managers.What you will do:In partnership with the Project Director and Project Manager, you will lead a team, or multiple teams, in the design and technical documentation and delivery of a wide range of projects.Support the pursuit of excellence in new aviation projects.Develop solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems.Oversee and mentor the development of more junior designers and architects.Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials.
