Active Paws Inc. is looking to add a new Dog Walker to the team for Tuesday's Wednesday's and Thursday's. Get paid to receive warm greetings with wagging tails all while working while walking.
Dog walkers visit the homes of clients to take dogs out for exercise and, on occasion, provide their meals as needed or other reasonable client requests.
The ideal person for this position understands the safety and priority of the animals in their care. They should be an independent and reliable self-starter with lots of energy and a passion for dogs. They should be flexible, dependable, good character, fun, motivated, professional, punctual, durable, (able to weather the elements), good time manager, loves animals and people.

While you are out walking pups alone, you're not alone in this! We'll make your schedule, and provide you with insurance, bonding, (first aid & CPR) and years of experience, we'll even pay those pesky taxes for you from your paycheck (no W9's, this is a W2 position).
Your Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
Walk up to 4 dogs at once and pick up after them
Respect clients, their animals and their homes
Meet and exceed client requests
Treat animals in your care as if they were your own
Follow your schedule and complete assignments with documented notes through our software
Communicate any concerns to management
Requirements:
A reliable vehicle and be willing to transport dogs in it, dogs can be gross
A smartphone with email and the ability to use apps
Live in a town within or contiguous to our service area (Watertown, Waltham and Belmont)
Available Tues-Thurs 10-2:30 as any extra days, evenings or weekends can serve as extra income but is not regularly scheduled
Successfully pass a background check
Compassion, patience, and reliability
The ability to walk, run, pull, push, bend or reach
The ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Capable of handling all sizes of canines from small to large
