Our client, a leader in their industry, needs a talented Platform Engineer to support a transition to automation-first and cloud-native architecture.
We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. Responsibilities of the Platform Engineer: - Build with cloud services: AWS Lambda, AWS Dynamo DB, etc.
- Collaborate with platform engineers on security standard methodologies
- Build and work on cloud security controls and cloud compliance programs
- Build out security tooling and services
- Ensure secure cloud deployments
Requirements of the Platform Engineer: - At least 7 years of programming experience such as Java, Python, or Go
- Experience securing cloud providers and platforms: AWS, Azure
- Experience designing and building secure large-scale Kubernetes
- Excellent hands-on containerization using platforms and tools
- Proven experience handling large-scale and growing infrastructure across data centers and hybrid cloud platforms
- Experience with IaC: Terraform, Cloud Formation and CI/CD - Jenkins, Stash
- Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA
