Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef with strong experience in American and Italian cuisine. The ideal candidate is creative, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will be responsible for leading daily kitchen operations, crafting high-quality dishes, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute menu items with consistency and excellence
- Develop and refine recipes for both American classics and Italian specialties
- Oversee kitchen staff, ensuring teamwork and smooth service
- Manage inventory, food costs, and ordering
- Maintain cleanliness and adherence to all food safety regulations
- Collaborate with management on seasonal menus and specials
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Lead Cook
- Strong knowledge of American and Italian cooking techniques
- Ability to manage a team and stay calm under pressure
- Excellent time-management and communication skills
- Culinary degree preferred, but not required
