If you like family businesses, the quality over quantity mindset and you love baking, Le Petit Four, The Little Oven is for you! We're now hiring a full-time Overnight Baker. Overnight Opening Bakers generally work a 10 pm to 6 am shift at our store.We are a high-volume, fast-paced bakery that strives for perfection – acceptance of constructive feedback and an eye for detail are important.
Skills and Expectation:
- Baking skills for Bread, Dough & Croissants
- Food Preparation
- Independent and can work alone in the kitchen.
- Clean food station, clean clothes and always on time.
- Bread production experience
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of French pastry techniques is a plus
- Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen setting
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have at least one year professional baking experience.
- Report to/support the Pastry Chef in achieving his/her objectives and performance.
- Incredible attention to detail, positive attitude, and being well organized.
Compensation:
The starting wage for this position is $25-$27 per hour.
