Job Description
HVAC Duct Cleaning/Environmental Technician
We have an opening for an HVAC Duct Cleaning/Environmental Technician. This position would be part of a two-person duct cleaning crew to meet the demands of a growing service line. The position is full time.
This position involves responsibilities that include:
Cleaning of HVAC-related systems.
Cleaning ductwork for residential, commercial, and industrial facilities
Cleaning of laundry and bathroom exhausts.
Providing support for mold remediation, disaster, or other special projects.
Cleaning and maintaining duct cleaning equipment and new work vehicle.
Providing exceptional customer service.
Experience & Education:
Previous experience cleaning HVAC-related systems is preferred but not required.
Demonstrate proficiency with business technology applications (e.g., Microsoft Word & Excel).
Demonstrate ability to work and communicate in a team setting
Knowledge of and experience with HVAC systems.
High School Diploma (or G.E.D), or Trade School.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Requires a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Requires ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) medical exam and commercial motor vehicle cert.
Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
Comfortable working from height and on ladders.
Working in basements and attics year-round.
Basic knowledge and use of hand tools.
Experience with sheet metal/ductwork is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Performance of essential functions may require exposure to adverse environmental conditions such as dirt, dust, pollen, wetness, temperature and noise extremes, hazardous materials, heights, unsafe structures, confined spaces, machinery, traffic hazards, or toxic substances.
Some combination of climbing and balancing, including climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
This is a full-time position Days and hours of work may be dependent on client schedules. Early or late hours may be required as job duties demand.
