Facilities Maintenance Technician

Looking for a skilled Facilities Maintenace Technician to oversee and manage the plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and light carpentry work for a large corporate office space in Medford, MA. Some responsibilities include:

1) Review BMS for any alarms and take corrective action if needed.

2) Review Email for any issue or request and respond as needed.

3) Tour all critical spaces each morning. Review for alarms, fluid leaks, or anything out of order.

MDF/IDF

Electric rooms

Boiler room

Kitchen or equipment

4) Review any open or issued WO from Jira Service Request system.

5) Perform work as needed from WO’s, requests, or verbal requests from company personnel.

6) Check in with facilities staff each morning around 10-11 am. Inform of any irregularities or issues found.

7) Weekly, inventory for any equipment should be noted. If new material needed, obtain pricing and review order with supervisor. Organizes storage rooms and organizes/inventories/orders supplies as needed.

a.) Inventories to be checked: (some of these may be issued as a WO)

Air filters

Water filters: under sink, kitchen refrigerators, etc.

Lamps, drivers, and or ballasts

Plumbing parts: flushometer, gaskets, cartridges, etc.

Coffee supplies

Janitorial supplies and paper products

Monthly: tool inventory

8) Return to working on any issues, any WOs issued, and or any special projects.

9) Conducts scheduled inspections of building/grounds, completes checklist noting deficiencies and takes corrective action

10) Oversees outsourced equipment preventive maintenance inspections and repairs (HVAC, Electrical, UPS, Generator, Life Safety, Plumbing, etc.)

11) Assists with moves

12) Responsible for meeting room set-ups
