We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team, serving residential and commercial properties in the Greater Boston area. Flexible hours and competitive compensation ranging from $25–$30/hour, depending on experience.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, you will work under the direction of the Property Manager while demonstrating the ability to independently prioritize maintenance tasks. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the upkeep and smooth operation of residential and commercial properties.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct Section 8 and housing inspections.
Perform general repairs including electrical, plumbing, heating, and carpentry work.
Repair sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors.
Prepare units for new tenant move-ins.
Be on-call for 24-hour emergency maintenance
Schedule and complete preventative maintenance tasks.
Coordinate material purchases and manage storage organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Excellent communication and follow-up skills using text, email, WhatsApp, and phone.
Exceptional time management skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Basic toolset for completing maintenance tasks.
Bi-lingual candidates are a plus.
