Description We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our clients' financial records are accurate and up-to-date, supporting their financial health and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, an eye for detail, and a strong understanding of accounting principles.Key Responsibilities:Financial Recordkeeping:

Record and maintain accurate financial transactions for multiple clients, including posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.

Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, ensuring timely payments and invoicing.

Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of bank accounts and credit card accounts.

Payroll and Tax Support:

Process payroll for clients, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Prepare and file payroll tax reports and 1099 forms.

Assist with the preparation of sales tax filings and other regulatory submissions.

Preparation of individual income tax returns (S& F will train as needed)

Reporting and Analysis:

Generate financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.

Provide financial insights and data to support client decision-making.

Client Support and Communication:

Act as a primary point of contact for clients regarding bookkeeping inquiries, financial reports, and tax-related matters.

Assist clients with setting up and maintaining their accounting systems and workflows.

Collaboration with the Firm & CPA Team:

Work closely with CPAs to support tax preparation, audits, and financial reviews.

Identify discrepancies and collaborate to resolve issues efficiently.

Assistance with internal accounting and firm administration

Requirements

Qualifications:Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 3-5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPA firm or multi-client environment.

Skills and Competencies:

Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel.

Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, payroll processing, and tax reporting.

Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
