IM (SDx) Application Developer
Position Description CGI is looking for an IM (SDx) Application Developer who be responsible for the ownership of the Configuration/Custom code developed and maintaining the same in the form of reusable templates as applicable. This role must be located in Cambridge, MA.Your future duties and responsibilities• Troubleshooting of Production/Non-Production issues related to Configuration/Customization• Working as a strong support team member ensuring the health of SDx deployed across projects/assets• Be up to date on the technological aspects in terms of the application/tool capabilities to be able to recommend the right module for the right business demand/purpose including it's fitness of purposeRequired qualifications to be successful in this role 5 to 8 years of corporate IT experience Hands on experience working with SDx(Operations and Projects) - Customization, Extensibility Code development - integration with other applications using the same• Working experience with the modules of SDx mainly, but not limited to - Data Validator, Fusion, SDx for Operations and Projects, awareness of installation of software, backup and restore DB(including reference data) - setting up the Application end to end, including upgrade of the software/DB in flight when in production.• Understanding of how the customization is built for run and maintain of the same at enterprise level• Working experience on Cloud hosted environment• Proficient in mapping/writing .Net Restful APIs/Custom Adapter APIs to connect to various tools• VB. Net/C#.Net coding experience• Proficiency in Azure/AWS hosting of applications, Azure full stack development/Deployment skills• Excellent interpersonal communication and Stakeholder Management skills Dimensions and Special Challenges• Build strong working relationship with Product Line Managers (PLMs), Project Manager & Business Users.• Ability to learn domain skills expected in Capital Projects/Assets• Virtual working in a global environment with culturally diverse teams and across many organizational boundaries (within and across IT support and delivery organizations, incl. suppliers)• Managing multiple delivery priorities, multiple demand requests and complex (integration) issues• High degree of application, technology and SaaS landscape complexity and integration• Working as one team with business support teams to ensure seamless development and deployments of changes and maximum added value for the business by proposing continuous improvements in line with the business needs and strategy#doubledownBuild your career with us.It is an extraordinary time to be in business.
