Description We are looking for a dedicated Office Manager to join our team in Dedham, Massachusetts. This role involves managing office procedures and tasks, such as gift processing, database maintenance, event management, and customer service. This position is crucial to our fundraising efforts and will require excellent organizational and communication skills.Responsibilities: Accurately and promptly process all gifts, pledges, and receipts, including credit card transactions and reporting. Collaborate with the business office to resolve issues regarding gift processing. Update and maintain all constituent records, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Conduct research to maintain up-to-date business information for graduates and parents. Develop and implement database policies and procedures to ensure ongoing accuracy. Manage event responses and attendance, and produce name tags for development events. Administer the matching gift program and oversee the completion of all matching gift forms or online confirmations. Monitor office supplies and equipment, and place orders for necessary items. Assist with travel arrangements and expense reports for major gift officers as needed. Handle sorting and distribution of letters and parcels, and greet visitors to the office. Provide general assistance with mailings, events, and other initiatives as needed. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of three years of related office experience
Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar constituent management database preferred
Interest in fundraising and desire to work at an independent school
Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Google application suites
Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy, tracking, and follow-through
Ability to manage time efficiently
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proven ability to provide timely responses to requests, information, service, and assistance
Exercise good judgment and discretion when handling confidential information and interacting with donors and colleagues
Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
