Public Area Utility Porter

The Encore Boston Harbor Utility Porter will be responsible for cleaning duties as directed by Shift Manager – Cleans Public Areas using various types of equipment, materials and techniques to maintain the physical appearance of all public areas of the property. This includes, but is not limited to: adhering to all processes, and supporting department team members and maximizing opportunities for departmental success; maintaining all Encore Standards; and ensuring excellent guest and team member experience. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:   Adheres to all Encore Boston Harbor core values and property and department standardsActively contributes to the departmental performance, and the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental policies and procedures; records and reports.Supports all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and controls property wide are enforced within the department.Delivers and maintains a maximum level of property-wide service and satisfaction. Contributes to company-wide communication and best practices.Keeps informed of all new developments within the department.Manages multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations.Cleans and maintains public area equipment and the assigned premises. Removes and compacts trash from floors.Keeps the department supply areas organized and clean.Performs inventories and deliver/stock supplies as required.Communicates politely and display courtesy to guests and internal customers.Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information.Communicate with co-workers and supervisor to ensure quality service.Routinely performs casino station cleaning and maintenance as well as deep cleaning processes to ensure overall cleanliness of the property.Works with safety as a priority, and follows department and company safety standards.Maintains relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training.Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.
