Ready to get started?​DescriptionThe Mammalian Bioanalytics Characterization group, part of Sanofi’s global CMC Development is seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Associate. The successful candidate will utilize various bioanalytical tools including chromatography, electrophoresis, and mass spectrometry-based techniques to characterize protein biotherapeutics at all stages of development supporting the successful development of transformative medicines for a broad range of diseases.Responsibilities

Perform protein sample preparation techniques including protein digestion on liquid handling systems.

Perform biochemical characterization techniques including chromatography and electrophoresis (such as CE-SDS and cIEF).

Perform LC-MS peptide mapping experiments, LC-MS instrument operation and data analysis.

Independently design and perform experiments and data analysis.

Collaborate and communicate with group members to support multiple programs in a fast-paced environment.

Report experiment results in structured and concise manner.

Co-author technical reports, method protocols; present at internal meetings.

Adhere to timely and clear documentation of data including electronic lab notebook keeping.

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry or related discipline, or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and more than 2 years of relevant experience.

Hands-on experience with protein sample preparation techniques, protein HPLC and electrophoresis.

Knowledge of principles of mass spectrometry, hands-on experience with LC-MS instrument operation and data analysis.

Effective communication and presentation skills.

Attention to details and strong analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in mass spectrometry characterization of monoclonal antibody (mAb).

Knowledge of protein biochemistry.

Strong teamwork skills and motivation to excel in both individual and team environments.
