Job Title: Quality Engineer- Greenfield, MAJob DescriptionThe quality engineer will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of quality control and assurance management systems to assure that products manufactured by the organization meet customer specifications and achieve superior quality levels.Responsibilities
Investigate and determine root cause for customer and internal preventative actions
Prepare product certification documentation required to demonstrate compliance
Support vendor qualification, auditing, onboarding, and performance management
Conduct process capability analysis and prepare statistical process control charts aligned with customer needs and internal capabilities
Execute the metrology program for quality test equipment, ensuring internal and external calibration and verification activities are completed and maintained as current throughout the manufacturing process
Assist with management of the quality hold area and complete appropriate documentation to ensure control of nonconforming product
Drive continuous improvements to improve process capability, increase quality, and reduce waste
Troubleshoot quality issues on the production floor using analytical approach and data analysis, working with the production team towards a resolution
Support the internal audit program

5+ years' experience as a quality engineer
