Remote Position

TestOps Engineer to become an integral part of the Quality Assurance team reporting to Manager of QA & Testing. This position will be responsible for procuring test environments based on DevOps best practices. They will support the Test team's non-production environments. The ideal candidate should have a solid DevOps background with interest in supporting our QA test team.

Responsibilities:

Set up environments and required infrastructure
Define and set up support processes for testing team's non-production environments
Monitor the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and update or create new processes for improvement
Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible
Incident management and root cause analysis
Coordinate and communicate within and across the team(s)
Strive for continuous improvement
Mentor team members on dev ops best practices
Monitor and measure customer experience
Work with testers, TechOps and SysOps team to oversee code releases
Analyze logs to diagnose problems
Creating and maintaining a runbook

Position Requirements:

Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
Configuring and managing databases using MS SQL Server
Excellent troubleshooting
Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps
Understanding of the SDLC
Collaborative by nature
Tools/Languages/OS/Platforms:
Linux
MS SQL Server
Ant
Git
AWS, a plus, but not strictly required
