MANUFACTURING CENTER OPERATOR
Disston Company, Chicopee, MA is looking for a Machine operator to support the manager in daily activities in a small manufacturing company by maintaining and supporting the company goals thru operating welders, presses, boxing, sandblasting and general machine operation. Responsible for daily machine operation based on customer orders and inventory levels, keeping track of and ordering of machine consumables. Performing PM’s on machinery as needed. Working directly with manager on machine repairs and maintenance. Prior experience with presses, welding and general metal part manufacturing is preferred.
Must have basic computer skills. and comfortable working with integrated ERP system with a high level of attention to detail to spot product defects, flaws and remedy issues. Three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
