OESCO, Inc. is offering a part time position at their Conway, MA location for an experienced Web Administrator with experience with Adobe Commerce/Magento 2, Microsoft Windows, MySql and MSSQL databases, including secure coding practices.
Focus is: Keep our website running smoothly; work with service providers improving security, etc. Monitor server performance, upgrades as needed; work with the staff when unexpected computer-related issues arise needing attention.
Required:
Experience managing Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 websites
Proficient in Microsoft Windows and experience with Windows servers; knowledge of printers, drivers, routers, etc.; social media platforms - Content creation and maintenance; Work closely and amiably with office and sales staff.
Preferred: Adobe Commerce Architect or Developer certificate; Proof of ability to provide light support to IT Systems when needed; Experience working on PHP Content Management Systems (CMS) and eCommerce websites; MySQL and MSSQL Database Administration experience; and experience with web servers, bug prevention, detection, and resolution with good troubleshooting techniques.
Experience/Skills: Familiarity with basic networking principles; experience maintaining and supporting a Linux web or application server; experience with implementing secure networking and coding practices; experience or willingness to learn front-end/basic User Experience (UX) or User Interface (UI) development and design; and willingness to learn new programming languages and development strategies as required by business needs.
We are confident that this work may be accomplished on a 2 or 3 days per week schedule and would like to speak more about that.
