About the Speech Language Pathologist role: Startingas an extension of our Birth to 3 family centered intervention, KDC Therapies blends the philosophy of parent coaching and the convenience of medical model therapies. Our fully equipped space is appropriate for children 0-18who require specialized speech services. In addition to on-the-job learning, KDC offers professional development activities and training necessary to maintain relevant certification/licensure in accordance with your professional discipline.Schedule: Part Time and FFS Available!

Monday-Friday 2:30 pm - 7 pm, available

and Saturdays 8 am - 2 pm, available

Morning sessions also available!

We are looking for people who:

Must possess a current Massachusetts CCC-SLP License, required.

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, required.

The physical requirements for the Speech Language Pathologist role:

Frequent movement within classroom including but not limited to: kneeling, bending, sitting, lifting, and positioning of students

Operation of adaptive and specialized equipment

Ability to lift 50 pounds alone, 51+ pounds with the assistance of another person or adaptive equipment

Ability to physically assist individuals as determined by their needs

Ability to tolerate significant amounts of walking, standing, and sitting

In the Speech Language Pathologist role, you'll get to:

Screening, assessments, and ongoing service coordination according to agency standards.

Complete reports of assessments, progress reports, and discharge summaries

Maintain appropriate communication with physicians, clinics, and community agencies participating in each child’s care

Provide information to parents that enable them to make informed decisions for their child's progress
