Carlesimo Concrete Products Company located in Farmington Hills, Michigan is seeking Layout/Estimating Technician to join our team. This position reports directly to the Plant Superintendent/Management and supports multiple areas of production, estimating, and quality control. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects at once, meet turnaround schedules, and communicate effectively with customers to keep jobs moving on time.
Responsilbilities:
Communicate directly with contractors, engineers, and project managers regarding project details and requirements.
Prepare shop and submittal drawings.
Support production layout and scheduling.
Assist with quality control and shipping coordination.
Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic math and computer proficiency.
Willingness to work outdoors as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CAD software (Company uses Draftsight)
Blueprint reading and/or drafting experience.
Backqround in construction or manufacturing.
