Client's' Software Driven Experience (SWX) Organization is looking for a Connected Services Feature Architect. The Feature Architect will be responsible for architecting technical solutions to business processes for Client's brand's connected services global offerings. They are responsible for creating end-to-end technical solution for several connected features within our cloud-based architecture. The domains related to Client's Connected Car are the following:

  • Digital Drive - Enhancing the customer's daily driving experience and comfort.
  • Digital Life - building the connected vehicle ecosystem as the center of the customer's digital mobility journey.
  • Vehicle Ownership - Driving maximum convenience and connectivity access to the customer's experience throughout the ownership lifecycle.
  • Platform & Enablers - improving every aspect of our connected services and accelerating product development speed and quality.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of bug-free off-board features.
  • Work with all stakeholders to ensure timely progress and remove all blockers as needed.
  • Responsible for managing the quality of deliverables and services by suppliers within contractual boundaries.
  • Build and maintain relationships with all the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the detailed design (API details, parameters, payloads) of the component interactions to deliver a feature.
  • Work with requirements team in assimilating (Feature) requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Solution Architect to reuse existing design patterns and components.
  • Work with customer channel leads to ensure design is consistent based on requirements.
  • Ensure the DFMEA (Design failure mode and effect analysis) / TARA (threat analysis and risk assessment) risks and issues are addressed 100%.
  • Provide clarification to development teams and resolve dependencies in a timely manner.
  • Publish / approve design documents to ensure alignment across component teams.
  • Validate estimates from development partners and recommend approvals.
  • Coordinate resolution of all issues identified by the various validation teams.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engg.
  • 5+ years of systems software development experience.
  • Experience with Cloud, IOT platforms and API designs.
  • Experience integrating complex multi systems solutions.
  • Experience developing artifacts such as Entity Relation Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, User Stories, Use Cases, Swim Lanes, etc.
  • Experience evaluating existing system and architecture designs.
  • Demonstrated leadership and initiative to collaborate with global teams to creatively solve complex problems.
  • Troubleshooting / Root cause analysis experience.
  • Ability to work within onshore/offshore application development supplier engagement model.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills both oral and written.
  • Accountable for resolving issues and maintaining project timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Programming experience.
  • AWS Experience or Certification.
  • Prior experience in Connected Vehicle Prior experience working with an Automotive OEM.
  • Strong understanding of the agile manifesto.
  • Familiarity with model-based design concepts and modelling languages and tools (UML/SysML).
  • Familiarity with robust failure mode analysis and planning (DFMEA).
  • Familiarity with system sequence and interaction modelling.
  • Familiarity with modern software development techniques - CICD, TDD, DDD, BDD, Pairing, Mob development.
