Job SummaryThe Team Leader, Architecture leads a team of Architects to deliver architectural guidance and relevant artifacts that conform with the accepted best practices, patterns and principles of the relevant architectural domain (e.g., quality architecture, business architecture, data architecture, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, systems architecture or infrastructure architecture).

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and embody the culture and mission of the company
  • Lead and mentor the team on performance, production and day-to-day tasks
  • Establish development plans for architects to increase their skills and effectiveness
  • Develop and execute against a strategic vision for the software or hardware platforms and technologies within an architectural domain, which enable the broader vision for Technology and the business
  • Consult across architectural domains to ensure alignment and the development of consistent guidance
  • Assist with the rationalization of technology products and systems to avoid inefficiencies
  • Recommend information technology strategies, policies and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends and anticipating requirements
  • Assist with the building of standards and best practices for cross-cutting software development
  • Maintain the team by recruiting, selecting, training and overseeing team members
  • Pull and create reports necessary to carry out the functions of the team and for senior leadership, as requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment
