Oil Change/Tire Technician Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Oil Change Technician to join our service team. As a vital member of our operation, you will be responsible for performing oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance while delivering excellent service to our customers. Key Responsibilities
Perform oil and filter changes on both gasoline and diesel engines.
Inspect and replenish vehicle fluids, including coolant, brake fluid, windshield washer fluid, and transmission fluid.
Rotate tires, inspect for wear, and ensure correct air pressure.
Check and replace air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades as needed.
Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate findings to the service advisor or technician.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including care for tools and service bays.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines consistently.
Assist with additional duties such as vehicle vacuuming and shop cleanup when required.
Mount & Balance Tires, which would include passenger, truck and light duty trucks
Flat Repairs
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic automotive knowledge and a genuine interest in vehicle maintenance.
Previous experience as an oil change technician preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during work hours.
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors and colleagues.
Strong work ethic paired with keen attention to detail.
