D & J Contracting, Inc is looking for 1099 Sidewalk Snow Contractors for the upcoming snow season:
JOB DESCRIPTION: D&J Contracting, Inc. a leader in commercial maintenance and snow and ice removal, seeks people to clear sidewalks for the winter season. This position involves clearing snow and ice at various business locations during and after snow events. Late night, early morning and weekend work are required, depending on the timing of snowfalls. Applicants must be available from the onset of each snowfall until the conclusion of tasks. Employment could lead to a summer position if desired.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must know how to shovel snow and use a snow blower
Strong work ethic who are responsible and responsive when snow falls.
Must be a US citizen or hold current valid green card.
Must have reliable transportation
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 with a 4-hour minimum
10% Bonus at end of season for perfect attendance
Vehicle Allowance $75.00
All hand equipment and materials will be supplied.
We offer a 4-hour minimum per event but must be available from the onset of each snowfall until the conclusion of each event.
Late night, early morning and weekend work is required, depending on the timing of the snowfalls.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must have reliable transportation.
