Outdoor Power Equipment Technician
Full-time — Tools and Training Provided
Modern Mower is growing again. We’re one of the top-rated OPE repair shops in the state (possibly the world), and we’re looking for someone who wants to work with their hands, learn a real trade, and take pride in fixing things the right way.
You’ll be working on lawnmowers, snowblowers, generators, small engines, zero-turns, and everything in between.
No experience? If you’ve got mechanical aptitude, can follow directions, and show up reliably — we’ll train you.
Tools? We provide the tools you need.
What the job is:
Diagnostic and repair work on lawn & garden equipment
Carburetors, belts, blades, pulleys, cables, electrical, engines
Tune ups, reconditioning, and full service jobs.
Quality control — we don’t rush junk out the door
Working with a shop that actually knows what it’s doing

All necessary tools and diagnostic equipment

What we’re looking for:
Mechanical aptitude
Problem-solver
Reliable, steady, and willing to learn
Able to lift 40–50 lbs (loading/unloading equipment)
Someone who takes pride in doing the job right, not fast and sloppy

Hours:
We are open 9 -6 Monday through Friday. Full-time, daytime, consistent schedule
(No nights, no Sundays)
Pay:
$18 hr to start. $20 once trained. More for experienced individuials.
