Associate Process Manager

How you’ll make an impact:

This Process Manager position is an essential support role within the Software Type Acceptance Team in the OEM Engineering department. Our team manages more than 400 test requests for 75 different programs each year and priorities and schedules change frequently. We need a process manager who is methodical, detail oriented, and an excellent communicator to enable our test team to operate efficiently and keep our internal customers informed.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the Software Type Acceptance Gantt chart and forecasting process by working with Applications Engineering and Type Acceptance teams

  • Prepare summaries of test status to support certification readiness reviews with management

  • Analyze time records to update resource estimates and provide more accurate forecasts

  • Update established procedures as directed by the Type Acceptance Manager

  • Create test kits and maintain assigned inventory.

    What you’ll need:

    • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field required

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of software development and testing (automotive experience preferred)

    • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

    • Experience with Jira, Microsoft Excel, and Google Drive

    • Work experience in project or process management including managing Gantt charts

    • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
