1st & 2nd Shift Welder/Fabricator, Grand RapidsJob DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team! All shifts are available, Monday to Friday, with occasional adjustments to Monday to Thursday. The pay range for this position is $18-24/hour based off experience and interview. The primary responsibility will be welding steel staircases, railings, and other structural components for buildings. The role involves grinding and performing repair welds on finished handrails, utilizing a hand grinder and polisher, as well as moving and loading products after shipments are completed.
Weld steel staircases, railings, and other structural components.
Grind and perform repair welds on finished handrails.
Utilize hand grinders and polishers in addition to welding equipment.
Move and load products after shipments are completed.
Handle materials including steel, stainless steel, and occasionally aluminum.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and interpret construction and production blueprints.
Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
Experience with structural steel and steel fabrication.
Skilled in using fixtures and performing precision work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with aluminum welding is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and accountability.
