Overview:
We're expanding our team and seeking a motivated individual to join us primarily in the furniture finishing area. This role involves hands-on work in sanding, staining, painting, and applying finishes to wood furniture and custom projects. You'll also assist with general handyman tasks around the shop, such as repairs, assembly, and maintenance. Whether you're an experienced pro or eager to learn from the ground up, we're open to training the right person.This is a full-time position with a focus on quality craftsmanship. We offer flexibility for experienced candidates with competitive pay, or entry-level training for those new to the field. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and excited to be part of a small team dynamic—not someone just looking to clock in and out.
Key responsibilities:
Apply finishes (stains, paints, varnishes, etc.) to wood shuffleboard tables and custom pieces with precision and an eye for detail.
Perform sanding, prepping surfaces, and ensuring flawless results in the finishing process.
Assist with general handyman duties, including tool maintenance, shop organization, minor repairs, and project assembly.
Collaborate with the team on custom woodworking projects, from concept to completion.
Maintain a clean, safe workspace and adhere to best practices in craftsmanship.
Contribute ideas and improvements to our processes—we value input from everyone.
