We are seeking a skilled and experienced construction estimator to join our growing team. You will assist our team with proposals, cost estimates and detailed takeoffs for construction projects. This position requires an individual who has experience in construction estimation, strong communication and project management skills.
## Responsibilities
Analyze blueprints, proposals, specifications, and construction documents to understand the project.
Visit construction sites to obtain necessary information for bidding the project.
Calculate construction materials, product costs, labor, and time to estimate overall cost for construction projects.
Build/maintain positive relationships with clients/subcontractors.
##Qualifications
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Team-player mentality, with the willingness to work in conjunction with the entire management team
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software
The ideal candidate will be able to manage detailed takeoffs, handle preconstruction paperwork, and attend bid meetings.
