We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Broiler Farm Manager to oversee the care of chickens and manage all aspects of our broiler farm operations in Ozark, AR. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining clean facilities, performing repairs, and ensuring the well-being of our poultry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the broiler farm, including feeding, watering, and monitoring the health of chickens.
Ensure that the facilities are kept clean and well-maintained at all times.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on barns, equipment, and infrastructure.
Set up, take down, and wash barns according to established protocols.
Monitor environmental conditions and implement measures to optimize the health and well-being of the chickens.
Implement biosecurity measures to prevent the spread of disease.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, production, and other relevant data.
Work independently to make decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.
Qualifications:
Previous experience managing a large-scale poultry farm or similar agricultural operation.
Strong understanding of poultry husbandry, including nutrition, health, and behavior.
Mechanical aptitude and experience with farm equipment maintenance and repair.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
