Description We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in the construction/contractor industry, located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This role involves analyzing financial data, using various accounting software systems, and providing financial analysis for decision-making processes.Responsibilities: Analyzing financial data to support decision making in the construction/contractor industry Utilizing various accounting software systems such as Sage 300 and CRM for data mining and financial analysis Communicating financial insights to the team and stakeholders for strategic planning Ensuring the integrity of financial data by maintaining accurate customer credit records Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Performing ad hoc financial analysis to support the team's needs Providing financial analysis to inform strategic decisions Collaborating with the team to maintain a fast-paced work environment Utilizing analytical skills to interpret complex financial data Ensuring all accounting functions are performed in accordance with industry standards. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Financial Analyst role within the construction/contractor industry Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with CRM systems Knowledge of Crystal Reports Familiarity with Data Mining Techniques Ability to perform various Accounting Functions Understanding of Accrual Accounting Proficiency in Sage 300 Experience with Ad Hoc Financial Analysis Ability to perform Financial Analysis and Provide Financial Analysis to stakeholders Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.
