Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Plant Controller in Lansing, Michigan. This role is pivotal in overseeing all accounting functions in our organization, from budget processes to capital management. As a Plant Controller, you will be dealing with accounts payable and receivable while working on enterprise resource planning for our firm. Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable Manage and develop budget processes to ensure financial efficiency Handle capital management to ensure the company's financial stability Utilize enterprise resource planning systems to streamline and integrate business processes Work on percentage completion projects to ensure timely and successful delivery Handle CapEx responsibilities, managing the company's capital expenditures Ensure that all financial operations align with the company's financial policies and regulations Regularly review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports Stay updated with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes Work with the financial team and coordinate with other teams to meet company goals.For immediate consideration, please contact Jennifer Willis at 517.619.1899 or email your resume to Jennifer.willis@roberthalf.c0mRequirements Proficiency in CapEx and capital management operations Demonstrated experience in managing accounting functions Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in handling budget processes Ability to calculate and interpret percentage (%) of completion Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong organization and time management skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
