You’re constantly evolving, so shouldn’t your opportunities be, too?The OpportunityThe Senior Analyst - Advanced Business Analytics - Marketing role will be responsible for the implementation of marketing technologies to support the execution and analysis of database marketing campaigns for Ally. As an integral part of the database marketing team, this person will interact with third party vendors, business partners on the marketing team and line of business to support the execution of marketing campaigns.Ally work locations are Charlotte NC or Detroit MI - Hybrid schedule 3 days in office and 2 days at homeAt this time, Ally will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The Work Itself

Work closely with business and technology partners to effectively plan and manage highly integrated projects in support of email/direct mail campaigns based on detailed customer characteristics, legal regulations, statistical models and client requests.

Acts as team's interface to IT and Business Partners; develops/maintains strong relationship with vendor teams and vendor management.

Provides direction and oversight to project teams to design, develop, deploy and sustain solutions that maintain marketing operations.

Responsible for resolving issues and mitigating risks, escalating issues/ risks when appropriate.

Analyze and report on campaign performance including statistical significance testing and business case analysis.

Translate business partner requirements into technical specifications.

Conduct detail-oriented team audits of all deliverables to ensure 100% accuracy of campaign data.

The Skills You Bring

3+ years of professional experience in business analytics required, preferably in financial services

Strong technical abilities leveraging relational databases utilizing SQL required

Experience with Snowflake, SAS or Python preferred

Ability to manage multiple projects at once

Ability to work with diverse business partners with competing objectives

Attention to detail and strong focus on quality

Professional communication across roles and functions throughout the organization
