Job Description: Dietary/Culinary Aide is responsible to provide assistance in all culinary functions.
Duties include:
Assist in serving meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance, and on a timely basis
Complete kitchen and dining room cleaning assignments according to the cleaning schedule or as directed
Assist cook in meal preparation and other culinary services tasks as directed
Perform all culinary procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with older adults
Ability to work with a wide variety of personalities in a pleasant and professional manner
Ability to use standard equipment used for culinary services
Adequate experience in commercial food preparation to understand and manage the necessary volume of food preparation and service
Ability to work independently and as a team without constant supervisory directive
Schedule:
Must work every other weekend and some holidays
