Upscale Building Services, Inc. is seeking reliable and motivated General Laborers to join our construction team on an independent contractor basis (1099). This full-time position will be based at our construction site in Holt, MI.

Key Responsibilities: Site Preparation & Cleanup. Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, removing trash, and setting up necessary equipment.
Material Handling: Assist with the unloading, sorting, and distribution of building materials, tools, and supplies.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): You must provide your own hard hat, safety vest, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is preferred. On-the-job training will be provided.
Physical Demands: The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or kneel for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
Contractor Status: Must be able to work as an independent contractor (1099), which includes managing your own taxes, insurance, and benefits.
Must have reliable transportation and ability to maintain good attendance daily.
Compensation: $20/hour. Estimated start to occur in January.
