Contract Therapist (1099) – Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunities
We are a small, therapist-owned group practice located at 1576 Peck St, Muskegon, MI – just one block from Muskegon High School and Muskegon Middle School – looking for fully licensed and limited-license clinicians to join our team.
What We Provide:
Very competitive revenue split 70/30 for fully licensed clinicians (LMSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist, etc.)
60/40 for LLMSW clinicians
Most individual sessions will pay $70–$85 per clinical hour for fully licensed therapists (your take-home after the split is among the highest in the area)
Pay is determined as a percentage of the insurance company's contracted rate for services. (So, some will pay more and some less than the amounts listed above).
All overhead covered: furnished private office in a classic, well-maintained older building; high-speed internet; billing and credentialing with major insurance panels; Office Ally EHR; basic supplies; and marketing support. You may decide that you would like to pay for AI dictation to help documentation go faster.
Supervision included for LLMSW therapists (individual supervision provided by the practice owner, an experienced LMSW with approved supervisor status)
Flexible schedule – you choose your own days and hours (including evenings and weekends)
Group therapy room available if you would like to run groups (great additional income potential)
Supportive, collegial suite with other independent therapists
No non-compete clause
Caseload Expectations & Minimums
We are in the early growth stage and actively increasing marketing. Referrals are coming in steadily, and new clinicians can realistically build a full caseload within 1–3 months (faster with evening/weekend availability or niche specialties).
Fully licensed clinicians: Minimum average of 5 client sessions per week (no upper limit – see as many clients as you’d like).
LLMSW clinicians: Minimum of 16 hours per week (required by Michigan limited-license rules) and no more than 40 total clinical hours per week across all employment sites.
Requirements:
Active Michigan license in good standing Fully licensed: LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LP, PsyD/PhD
Limited license: LLMSW only
Carry your own liability insurance

This is a 1099 independent contractor position – no benefits, but exceptionally high take-home pay and zero/low out-of-pocket expenses.
