PURPOSE
Serves as the Carpenter for the assigned department. Reports timely to project leader on site and performs tasks as needed/assigned. Adheres to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Travels between job sites as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Provides labor as carpenter on projects as assigned, including but not limited to drywall hanging and finishing, acoustical ceiling grid installation, exterior insulation, framing, etc.
Represents the company in a professional, ethical, and courteous manner.
Must be able to comprehend basic instructions.
Willingness to ask for help when needed.
Must be on-time to jobsites.
Read Tape Measure, knowledge of basic carpentry tools
Basic Math Skills
Ability to Learn and comprehend basic instructions
Provides Own Transportation
Physical Strength and Stamina
Team Oriented - Cooperate with Ritsema field leaders in performing assigned tasks.
Be willing to complete additional tasks as needed.
Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen. This position requires being able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. regularly, bending, kneeing, and twisting. This position also requires that the employee provide, maintain, and replace their own hand tools. Power tools and specialty tools will be provided by the employer.
