- Owner Operators, we have an opening for an owner operator to join Wheeldon Transport. We are a Michigan based produce hauler that hauls potatoes and other foods.
- Runs Nov-April are out and back with weekly home time. Mostly Midwest and east coast. May-Oct are generally 1-2 weeks out with flexibility. Midwest-Praire-Gulf States.
- No experience hauling reefer? It’s ok, we will mentor the right driver.
- Great fuel card available.
- National tire account with Michelin/BFGoodrich.
- 75% of the haul paid pulling company trailer.
- If carrying your own plate, tolls, IFTA, Fuel Card, Permits, we pay after docs are scanned via ACH to your account! If carrying Wheeldon Transport plate, IFTA, fuel card, permits, pay is weekly with escrow.
- Must cover bobtail (non trucking liability) insurance.
- No age limit on power unit, all equipment must pass Wheeldon Transport inspection. Two years experience required and no SAP, major violations, or DUI.
- Some of our loads are paid by cwt. Heavy tractors such as “big bunks” are not permitted.
