Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Job DescriptionResponsible for executing a variety of financial procedures including month-end and year-end closings, Accounts Payable and Receivable, General Ledger account reconciliations, General Ledger entries, forecasting and budgeting.  Must possess strong time management and analytical skills, attention to detail, and solid communication abilities.Responsibilities for Senior AccountantEnsures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts.Prepare documentation for internal and external auditors.Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the Accounting and Finance team or with other departments.Ensure all financial transactions within the company are accounted for and follow legal standards.Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
