Job Title: Mechanical InsulatorJob DescriptionThe Mechanical Insulator will work on various commercial and industrial projects throughout West Michigan. This position involves insulating piping, HVAC equipment, and ductwork within a facility. The role requires measuring and cutting insulation to the correct length, installing it, and adding protective layers such as spray foam or fiberglass.Responsibilities

Insulate piping, HVAC equipment, and ductwork

Measure and cut insulation materials to the required length

Install insulation and protective layers like spray foam and fiberglass

Work on ladders up to 12 feet high

Drive to various job sites throughout West Michigan

Essential Skills

Mechanical knowledge with experience in commercial or residential insulation projects

Ability to use a tape measure and cutting tools (knife or blade)

Comfortable working at heights and on ladders

Reliable transportation

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with boom lifts or scissor lifts

Familiarity with sheet metal, ductwork, mechanical work, and blueprints

General labor skills, including the use of tape measures and cutting tools

The standard shift is Monday to Friday, 6 am - 2 pm or 7 am - 3 pm, working 40 hours a week.
