Service Desk Technician6:30 pm-3:00 am CST Sunday-ThursdayWork onsite with some work from home days. Remote if not local.The Service Desk Technician is responsible for supporting our client manufacturing, retail and corporate locations providing software, hardware and connectivity support to client end users, which at times requires troubleshooting and issue resolution. This position also involves data entry for status and ticket documentation.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Support Activities including developing a thorough understanding of the client s environment, software and hardware, troubleshooting using knowledge, ticket documentation, and escalating issues to assigned support teams as needed.Positive Communication including utilizing provided systems to troubleshoot, access knowledge, communicate with empathy and in a positive manner with client s end users to provide solutions; maintaining positive working relationships with internal departments including providing overall feedback to the Help Desk Supervisor; and making recommendations for continued process improvement.Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years Help Desk experience
- Some College or Technical School preferred or equivalent related experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to listen and accurately track and collect information
- Enthusiastic with exceptional communication and documentation skills
- General knowledge of networks
- Experience with ServiceNow a definite plus
- Any relevant certifications a definite plus
- Any low-voltage device experience a plus.
