As a Lead Cyber Security Architect/Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be part of the Innovation, Architecture and Threat Intel team defining future solutions for our critical cybersecurity business. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the architecture and design of our cyber security product and perform threat research in OT while guiding the development, and implementation with engineering teams. You will provide technical guidance to the project team while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure a smooth integration of new initiatives. You will be responsible for assisting in the development of cyber security policies and procedures and ensuring the execution of those within day-to-day project tasks. You will report directly to our Chief Architect for Cybersecurity business, and you'll work out of our Duluth, Georgia, Atlanta, Georgia, or Hamilton, New Jersey locations on a hybrid work schedule. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address security requirements
Oversee, as an architect, the execution of cybersecurity initiatives and projects
Provide technical guidance and mentorship with hands on as required to support project team members
Perform threat research for OT industry and deliver them to Honeywell products
Identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Lead the response to security incidents promptly and decisively
Contribute to the creation of security awareness materials for the organization
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses
#LI-HybridYOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
6+ years of experience in a lead cyber security role
Experience in performing pro-active threat research and malware analysis
Experience in both container and micro-service design patterns
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and best practices
Excellent communication and ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders
Ability to lead direct and indirect reports by influence
WE VALUE
Bachelor's degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or another related field
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable
Relevant experience in use of Microsoft and Linux are highly desirable
Relevant experience in AI/ML and language models are highly desirable
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing cybersecurity teams
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
