Job Description:-Partners with the manager to assess, direct, manage and evaluate the delivery of nursing care and patient support services to achieve a specified standard of care and quality metrics for a designated patient population. -Ensures streamlined patient care delivery systems, which promote smooth patient transitions across the continuum. -Accountable for effective fiscal and operational management and maintains optimum patient care unit systems, including staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and communication. -This position collaborates in the development and achievement of unit goals and performance improvement activities. -Works with the manager to ensure staff orientation, education, development and evaluations are completed.Education Qualifications:Educational Requirements:
BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing is required. If candidate holds an ADN, a BSN degree is required within 3 years
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years previous acute care/hospital RN experience
Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
Basic cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month
