C.H. Robinson is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to serve as a key strategic partner, driving data analysis that supports informed business decisions within a dedicated division. In this role, you will lead the preparation of monthly financial statements, comparative reports, and annual budgets while offering strategic insights to division leaders. Your focus will be on collaborating with internal stakeholders and business leaders to generate value and contribute to the organization's overall success.At C.H. In this role, you will engage with peers on-site three days a week, fostering creativity and delivering impactful results. With the flexibility to work remotely two days a week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.The deadline for internal applications is Friday, January 17, by the end of the day.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop and support business cases for key strategic initiatives within North American Surface Transportation (NAST)

Serve as the finance business partner to senior NAST leadership to drive business impact

Leverage business insights to make recommendations and influence financial decision-making

Proactively identify and communicate actionable areas for improvement

Assist with annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes in support of cross-functional leaders

Consult, guide, and influence business partners on budgeting and forecasting guidelines, philosophy, and approach

Provide indirect leadership and mentorship to the FP&A team

Collaborate with higher-level internal and external stakeholders to drive data-driven financial planning and strategic decisions

Apply industry best practices to C.H. Robinson’s financial planning and analysis methodologies

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial management reports, addressing escalated items and ad hoc requests

Lead cash flow analysis and financial modeling for key projects, including return-on-investment (ROI) assessments and financial projections

Drive process improvement initiatives for key FP&A activities, including end-user tools and resources

Manage ad hoc FP&A projects as requested

Implement reporting and analytical tools to ensure stakeholders have the necessary information for informed decision-making

Partner with the corporate finance team to enhance reporting and analytics tools

Participate in the design and testing of reporting and analytical tools

Act as a recognized subject matter expert by staying current on industry best practices and sharing knowledge with the team

QUALIFICATIONSRequired:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in financial planning and analysis or other finance-related roles

Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

Ability to travel up to 10% (domestically and internationally)

Preferred:

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

Strong skills in data analytics, financial analysis, and accounting

Experience with finance technology such as Oracle, Essbase, or TM1

Familiarity with continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma tools and processes

Proven experience leading and mentoring peers

Strong ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across all levels of the organization

Demonstrated ability to influence and consult with stakeholders at various levels

Skilled in navigating matrixed organizations with multiple competing priorities

Ability to coach and develop junior staff members

Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities

Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
